Topic: China Company Law Update
Purpose:
As part of NZBRiC's educational series "Building BRiCs", this workshop aims to provide updates on the upcoming changes to China Company Law that will take effect on 1 July 2024. These changes are significant and will affect all local and foreign-invested companies. Some important highlights of these changes include revised timelines for capital contributions, increased liabilities for shareholders and company directors, enhanced duty of loyalty and diligence, and revamped governance structures.
