The New Zealand Roundtable in China (NZBRiC) is thrilled to host our second Dairy Industry Forum this quarter on 10 July. ๐ฅ
Chaired by Daniel Young, President of Tatua China and NZBRiC's Interim Dairy Industry Chair, this upcoming roundtable of industry leaders will topically focus on evolving dairy market dynamics in China. This focus will be contextualised by two keynote presentations. ๐ค
The first presentation will be led by Mike Underhill, Founder and Director of Scale NZ, a New Zealand-based market research firm. Mike will detail the findings of their latest report 'From Boom to Balance', which explores Shanghai consumer perceptions, habits, and barriers toward New Zealand products โ with actionable recommendations for NZ dairy. ๐ณ๐ฟ
Following this, the second presentation will be conducted by Li Xin, Founder and President of Sustenture and Chair of the Food, Agriculture, and Beverage Committee at AmCham Shanghai. Li will discuss how US food and agriculture companies are navigating the current economic and geopolitical climate, offering insightful comparisons for New Zealand dairy companies in China. ๐บ๐ธ
At the end of the presentations, there will be a roundtable Q&A session and open discussion, followed by a strategic planning session to outline the focus and objectives for the next Dairy Industry Forum in Q4. After the forum is officially concluded, members are invited to join for networking and drinks at a nearby venue. ๐ท
