The New Zealand Business Roundtable in China (NZBRiC) warmly invites you to the official launch of the 2026 NZBRiC Business Outlook Report, taking place on August 25th at New Zealand Central.
The evening will open with introductory remarks from our Chair, Dan Young, President of Tatua China, followed by a presentation of the report's key findings by NZBRiC Executive Director Nicholas Calder — offering direct insight into the sentiment, strategies, and expectations of New Zealand businesses operating across China. We are also pleased to welcome remarks from a representative of the New Zealand Consulate-General and a senior member of government, in support of this initiative.
The launch will bring the report's core insights to life through a presentation, followed by the opportunity to connect with peers over canapés and a selection of New Zealand wine.

About the NZBRiC 2026 Business Outlook Report:
The 2026 Business Outlook Report is based on a survey conducted by NZBRiC in April–May 2026 and represents our flagship advocacy publication of the year.
It provides a unique platform for New Zealand businesses operating in China to share their perspectives and shape how New Zealand engages with China on matters of business, trade, and policy. For many respondents, this survey offers the most direct channel to ensure their views are reflected in the broader dialogue on New Zealand–China economic relations.
This fourth annual edition marks the second time the report has been published in both English and Chinese, continuing our commitment to engaging stakeholders in both New Zealand and China. The findings presented serve as a trusted resource for government officials, policymakers, and business leaders, helping to inform decision-making across sectors.
