๐Ÿ“ฃ Join Us for the Official Launch of the 2025 NZBRiC Business Outlook Report

The New Zealand Business Roundtable in China (NZBRiC) warmly invites you to the official launch of the 2025 NZBRiC Business Outlook Report, taking place on July 22nd at The Warehouse Group's Head Office in Shanghai.

The evening will feature opening remarks and a presentation of the report's key findings by NZBRiC Chair Mark Anderton and Executive Director Nicholas Calder, offering direct insight into the sentiment, strategies, and expectations of New Zealand businesses operating across China. We are also pleased to welcome a special foreword presentation from our 2025 report sponsor, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (New Zealand) Limited. This will be followed by remarks from a representative of the New Zealand Consulate-General in Shanghai in support of this initiative.

Presented in a gallery-style format, the launch will showcase the report's core insights through a curated series of visual displays, allowing guests to explore and discuss the findings in a dynamic, interactive setting. Guests will have the opportunity to connect with peers while enjoying complimentary canapรฉs featuring Silver Fern Farm meat, alongside free flow premium New Zealand wines generously provided by Babich.

Whether you're a business leader, trade advisor, diplomat, or part of the broader NZโ€“China business ecosystem, this event offers a valuable opportunity to engage directly with the data, the voices behind it, and the community it represents. Gain firsthand perspective on the emerging trends shaping New Zealand's commercial presence in China and help shape the conversations that will define the next chapter.

About the NZBRiC 2025 Business Outlook Report:

The 2025 Business Outlook Report is based on a survey conducted by NZBRiC in May 2025 and represents our flagship advocacy publication of the year.

It provides a unique platform for New Zealand businesses operating in China to share their perspectives and shape how New Zealand engages with China on matters of business, trade, and policy. For many respondents, this survey offers the most direct channel to ensure their views are reflected in the broader dialogue on New Zealandโ€“China economic relations.

This edition marks the first time the report has been published in both English and Chinese, expanding its reach and impact among stakeholders in both New Zealand and China. The findings presented serve as a trusted resource for government officials, policymakers, and business leaders, helping to inform decision-making across sectors.
